This is Gogplay. This article interprets the status of Google Play apps. The common status of apps are as follows: draft, internal testing, closed testing, open testing, pre-registration, official version, unpublished, suspended by Google, and removed by Google.
As of September 2024, only apps in the draft status can be deleted directly in the background, and apps in any other version status cannot be directly deleted from the developer account, as shown in the figure below.
Can the review of the package under Google Play be canceled or withdrawn?
In theory, the status of any version of the review cannot be changed (cannot be canceled or withdrawn), and you can only apply to cancel the release of the app after Google’s review is completed. If you have chosen to cancel the release of your app on Google Play, only existing users of the app can find the app and receive updates in Google Play.
However, in certain states of the self-managed publishing mode, the review from one state to another can be removed during the review (which is equivalent to canceling the update), as shown in the figure below.
