From December 9th, Google will require two-step verification to view payment information, and Google will force two-step verification to be turned on again

Not long ago, Google forwarded a new policy notice (including adsense, admob). Previously, gp developers and adwords had been forced to open; from December 9th, we will require two-step verification before we can view payment information. Purpose To improve account security, to ensure continued access to your payment information, please set up two-step verification. As shown below

The following is the original text of the email notification received by the Google Play account. At present, only accounts in some overseas countries have received the notification of this policy;

This requirement has not yet appeared for accounts in China. As shown below

This new policy of mandatory two-step verification may bring some troubles to groups with multiple accounts. When opening gp developers, YouTube channels and other businesses, you must first turn on Google two-step verification. However, after the account is opened, the two-step verification can be canceled and closed, which means that you can only go through a cutscene. You can skip the threshold of two-step verification that requires a mobile phone card just by receiving the code, and the ordinary code is no longer suitable for this policy.

The latest policy now affects most commercial accounts, including adsense/admob.

Groups with too many accounts, or too many historically blocked accounts, must now equip each account with a new fixed phone number to bind Google two-step verification.
