A large number of Google Play developer identity authentication failed because the address proof step did not pass

This is Gogplay. Regarding the problem of Google developer identity verification and proof of address, I previously published an article entitled “Newly registered Google Play account supplementary verification, the uploaded file is not an acceptable proof of address document“. In the past year or two, the solution I provided has been 100% effective. However, around August 2024, some incredible situations occurred.

Based on many successful cases in the past, we already have a very mature solution, but some developer accounts still fail during identity authentication. The failed prompt message is as follows:

Proof of Address: The document type you submitted is not supported. Provide a different type of document.See the figure below for details

Please note that I successfully resolved this issue in late July 2024, helping some developers resolve proof of address issues on Google Play. Although the file we uploaded fully complied with the acceptable file types listed by Google, after multiple submission attempts, the system still said: “The uploaded file is not an acceptable proof of address document.” Below is a screenshot of the relevant information.

In the near future, a large number of developers will fail the address proof verification. For detailed follow-up information on this issue, you can pay me to contact me at support@ggplay.net.
