In response to the merchant verification problem in this case, Google has made more detailed explanations and adjustments this year

When this problem occurs in 2022, the payment will be suspended directly, and ID card verification + account recent activity details are required;
Later this year, there will be some changes. When the Google system finds that there is an abnormality in the merchant account, it will first issue an early warning, as shown in the figure above.
Google alerts that the merchant account is under review and payments will be held (suspended) for up to 35 days.
Means the review time will be completed within 35 days. If there is no problem in the review, the reminder will be automatically withdrawn; if the review finds a problem, you need to verify the identity of the merchant and explain the account activity information.
What hasn’t changed: Interpretation of account recent activity details still isn’t as easy to get right. In most cases, the developer will truthfully state the account’s recent activity information + explain the relationship with the buyer, but they are usually rejected. .
The most declined reasons were: We were unable to verify your payment information and the reason for your submission is unclear.

For Google developer merchants, apart from account removal, this case is currently the biggest problem and risk

As of press time, there are still not many successfully resolved cases. Gogplay is still conducting the latest research and exploration, and more follow-up information will be updated in this article in time.
