This is Gogplay, a website that specializes in researching Google knowledge and problems. This article continues to discuss Search Console. What are the core web page indexes in the background of Search Console? I think many non-professional SEO people will not care about this issue. The core web page index of Search Console is closely related to the user experience. Generally, Google obtains the core web page index of each website through the Chrome User Experience Report.
In the background of Google Search Console, the left menu [Experience] [Core Web Vitals] shows that our data is abnormal, and the number of items that need to be improved is 212, as shown in the figure below; then we click on the item to view the specific matters.
We can see some data through the Core Web Vitals catalog. The data target of mobile devices is blank and missing, because the number of visits to mobile devices is not enough, so a complete report cannot be formed.
Then check the desktop report to show how many poor URLs there are from a certain date, how many URLs need to be improved from a certain date, and how many goog URLs from a certain date. Unfortunately, we have no good URL. Then we click [Open Report] as shown in the figure below.
After opening the report, the reason why the URL is not considered a good URL will appear.
The page will display: Severity, Needs Improvement (issue Name, LCP issue: longer than 2.5s (desktop), Validation (Not Started). As shown below
Then we follow the prompts to view the URL group and click the sample URL, as shown below. We can see that there are 212 URLs in this group whose severity needs to be improved, and the group LCP is 3.5s, as shown below.
Then, we check and repair the corresponding URL according to the URL prompt of Google Search Console. After completing these tasks, click VALIDATE FIX in Search Console, as shown below. If Google verifies that our URL problem has been fixed, this problem will no longer be displayed in the background, as shown below.
