This is Gogplay. Due to the lack of understanding of Google policies by newcomers, this article is mainly intended to help developers understand their own US tax information as developers. Experienced people please skip it.
How to check the US tax information of my developer account, and how to open the Google US tax information page?
Google’s U.S. tax information path can be accessed by opening the URL https://payments.google.com/gp/w/u/0/home/taxcenter.
If no US tax information has been declared, this page will display [No tax information record]. If US tax information has been filled in/submitted, this page will display the submitted records, as shown below.
Currently, the tax forms applicable to non-Americans are usually in the form of W-8. The tax forms for US accounts are valid for 3 years. The tax forms of some countries do not yet indicate the validity period, as shown below (the screenshot is translated from the English page, and there are certain language errors)
Google prompts that the U.S. tax information needs to be completed. If it is incomplete or cannot pass the tax form review, can I receive payment from Google?
If you are prompted to complete tax information, you will not be able to receive payment from Google if it is not complete. For other articles about Google developer tax information, please view the following column link:
