Google Play D-U-N-S® Number organization verification issue, failure to complete verification resulted in accounts and apps being removed from the shelves

In our previous article “Your developer account has been removed from Google Play and your organization’s name or address cannot be verified,” we mentioned the problem of Google developers’ secondary D-U-N-S® Number verification for enterprise accounts. Unfortunately, A small number of developers have had their accounts and applications removed.

The first request for verification in this case was on February 7. At the end of February, the relevant developer contacted me to help solve the problem (he had tried it himself for a long time but failed). When I took over, the problem was solved promptly. Then in early March, the corresponding developer contacted me again and reported that Google Play asked for verification with the same problem. For this reason, I published a related article “With the help of bosses or locusts: the name or address of your organization has been Unverifiable problems continue to spread.” When I published this article, I was actually confused. I didn’t know why this developer was repeatedly asked to verify after successfully solving the problem. Because we have not yet received secondary feedback from other developers with the same problem.

I then re-instructed the other party to solve the problem. Unfortunately, I received a notification that the problem had been solved and the warning was lifted that day. Later, I received a notification that the account had been removed and all apps had been removed from Google Play. As shown below

The reason for this failure is that the corresponding developer handled the problem on his own for a long time without success before contacting me.

Although the follow-up was successful with my help, the wrong behavior made earlier caused the corporate developer account to repeatedly fail Dun & Bradstreet verification, so that the account and application were directly removed.

The case described in this article was caused by an information synchronization problem between D-U-N-S® Number and Google. So how do you check the latest status of your company’s D-U-N-S® Number information in the Google system? How long does it take to synchronize information between D-U-N-S® Number and Google?
