This is Dunang. I registered a domain name on Google Domains a few days ago. The domain name I wanted to register has already been registered, so Google automatically recommended and generated some messy domain names for me, and then I accidentally clicked Add to Cart. Later, I tried to register a new domain name. When I searched, the results showed that it could be registered. However, when I tried to add it to the shopping cart, it was prompted that the domain name could not be registered (I didn’t pay attention to this at the time), and then I checked out the shopping cart. It can be seen that this is a junk domain name mixed with letters and Chinese characters. It has been registered for 5 years at a time. Although it only costs more than 20 yuan per year in RMB, it is not interesting. Then I thought of deleting the domain name and getting a refund. You must know that if it is a domestic platform, refunds cannot be made. Most foreign domain name registrars can apply for a refund for domain name deletion.
Go to the Google Domain Name Help Center https://support.google.com/domains/ and chat with human customer service. The problem will be solved quickly.
First connect to the manual customer service, and then explain your problem, for example, you accidentally registered the wrong domain name, the domain name is xxxx.xx, and applied to delete the domain name and get a refund. The customer service deleted the domain name and refunded the money in less than 1 minute after responding, as follows As shown in the figure.
